AJ_Phoenix's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes it was an hour deep tissue massage on a big hairy guy in San Francisco. I was so nervous I dropped the glass of champagne that was given to me. After the session was over he tipped me an extra $50 so that’s why I decided to do this on a regular basis.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
That they want to tell all their friends about how much they enjoyed my massage by how good their mind, body, and soul feels.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
About 8 years and I’ll probably do it until I physically can’t of if I win the Lottery.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Do your research and get information from as many sources as you can.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
No although it is helpful, I think to be successful you have to be an Empath. When you take on your clients pain and you don’t even need to open your eyes to give a good massage, you’re an Empath.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I’m adaptable to any situation. Whether the client wants to talk the whole time or not at all I’m very “go with the flow”.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Not as much as I would like to but I get away when I works done at home, and it’s time for relaxation. I love to travel.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Eat sleep play read workout hike watch YouTube videos of orcas.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
That they want to return again and that they plan to tell all their friends about their quality time with me.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes I do.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes I would
Why did you become a Masseur?
To heal.
