Arcady_bodywork's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Masseur came together with my qualification as fitness trainer, I've learnt about massage same time I did my fitness school as a branch of sport itself. My first client was a person that booked me online, of course I did massage before to friends or clients I had in gym but this time was massage only, I was a little nervous thinking what will his opinion be like. The feed back was unexpected he said was one of the best massages ever,I asked him if he's saying that just to be polite or he really means it and it was just the truth. Its a bit too much talking highly about myself so I ask nicely anyone that had massage with me to write a review and to be honest about, any review matters, good or bad as long people talk about you means you exist, when ignored hurts the most.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Being a masseur is a job that I can do until Ill be really old and with the time comes the experience.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I believe I am on my way to become a masseur, to call myself a masseur Id need to know much more than this. That's why in may I start school for one year in Sport Massage and Holistic massage at a prestigious school in London.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I’m a calm and well balanced person, calm and spiritual, I believe that I work with a persons body energy not just the actual physical part. About the erotic part if there is a special moment at the end of massage I have a technique of making the ... intense pleasure last much longer than normally it does.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
They should be content, rested, relaxed and feeling of wellness on the inside and outside, just recovered from all the negative things that affected him right before meeting me.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I like music, watching documentaries mostly about history, nature and human body. What I love is to travel and I can say I tried the massage at its origins, in Thailand, Bali and India.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Like I said before it came with my other passion : fitness. I started to practice it and because of really good feed backs I had, I wanted to do and know more. I think before any knowledge You learn about massage you need to have the touch.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
That he should become a massage only if he thinks he has the qualities that require and that he enjoys making others feel good, can listen people's problem and maybe give an advice also...or at least another point of view
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
That special touch and energy that you need to be the Healer, of course its a metaphor , but it has a bit of truth in it
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I started doing body stretch and massage to my gym clients in 2012 when I started to work in the gym and Ill do it as long people will look for me.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love to travel, I travel nearby in Europe or in the most far corners of the Earth.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Like in any job, any career you have to evolve, improve, reinvent yourself so people will have what to discover in you even after years of constant meetings.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Id like them to feel that they done a good choice by meeting me, relaxed, having a positive energy and vibe and most important that for one hour to skip away from the daily problems.
