BILLYMSP's Massage Interview
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
If by successful you mean bringing a moment of intimacy and relief to someone's day, then yes I'd I'm successful
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I believe in openness and transparency. I say what I mean and I mean what I say and I deeply respect that in others. I can also tell a lot about you by the way your dog behaves 🤣
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Like a load has been lifted off their shoulders. We all need a moment now and then to be pampered and catered to and I love providing those moments. If you don't feel completely relaxed let's talk about how we can make that happen
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to travel. Biking around the Twin Cities is becoming a new love of mine. I also enjoy power lifting.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Start practicing on friends and family. Get massages yourself and feel for the technique the masseur uses. What do you like what don't you like? Learn and apply
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I have a gift for making people feel comfortable, understood and valid both thru listening and thru touch.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I guess I've been at it for a while. I've always been a "touchy feely" person. The kind more likely to give you a bro hug than a handshake. I remember rubbing my Dad's shoulders all the time as a kid. Used to love helping him relax after a long sweaty day at work. That's probably where I got my start
Why did you become a Masseur?
You know what they say about doing what you love...
