BostonJockxxx's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client was actually a dear friend who was having some muscle pain after a hard workout. I gave him a massage to ease the pain and he felt so much better. He asked why I didn’t do it on a regular basis and after I gave a bunch of excuses he told me that I really had good hands and needed to share that with other people.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel at least once a month to different cities and countries. I love seeing new places and exploring new cities. I usually make a few friends along the way and have a large network of friends across the globe.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
A masseur should understand how the body works and where the major and minor muscles are. They should know how the muscles connect to each other and how tension in one area can cause pain in another.
This does not require extensive training but it does require some knowledge of the human body. To give the best experience possible a masseur should understand a variety of techniques to address the needs of the clients.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
As a personal trainer and body builder I have an extensive knowledge of the body and what muscles connect to which others. This helps me readily assess a clients needs and where their discomfort is likely coming from.
I also have the strength to get out the toughest knots which is something many others lack.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I am a dedicated bodybuilder and always make time for the gym. It helps me both physically and mentally.
I also enjoy traveling, reading fantasy novels and baking
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do! My clients pain relief is my number one goal and I am very good at making sure my clients leave feeling much better than when they arrive.
