Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I was a little nervous about getting back into it again. But my client was so nice and at ease, that I flowed right back into it as if I had never stopped.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes. I really enjoy massage. I lose myself and get into a zone. It's very therapeutic to me. I enjoy connecting with a client on that level.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I believe so. Majority of my clients are repeat business and I really like seeing them return. That comfort level has already been built.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to travel. Everywhere and anywhere. That is why this year I will be visiting more cities to do massage work.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I don't know about others but being from Hawaii, I always greet and shake hands and hug when they leave. In my sessions, it’s all about the client, not me.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Always remember that it is NEVER about you and what you want. It’s about your client.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Completely relaxed, relieved and stress free.......and begging to return. Lol
Why did you become a Masseur?
I love the art of touch. Not everyone can do it well.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I’m always traveling for massage work or vacation. I’m almost never in Austin.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes. Because if you don't know how to massage a client, they will never return.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I've been a masseur for many years and I plan to continue doing it professionally for many years to come.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Like they totally made the right choice.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I’m originally from Honolulu. I lived in Vegas for 15 years, where I started doing massage work and I would like to go back to being a flight attendant.
