DuncanVegasII's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I do, I was living in Las Vegas and wanted to try something new. I was a little nervous when meeting my first client, but we hit it off and had a great time!
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Being a Masseur is absolutely addictive. I meet some of the most interesting people and the stories we share are always exciting and pleasurable. I would miss it if I quit. In fact, I did for about a year because I had a couple regulars and I missed it a lot. That's why I just started getting back into it :)
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
My real name is Duncan, and I love to talk travel!
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
They always feel satisfied, refreshed, and interested in setting up our next meeting.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Oh god, well I love the gym. I travel a lot and enjoy just about anything outdoors. Im an avid cyclist and love all water sports.
Why did you become a Masseur?
To meet interesting people, and to pay for my school/ rent/ food/ etc.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Its a fun job, you really just need to learn little things from experience over time. Kinda hard to explain
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My looks are very nice, but I can hold a conversation with anybody better then most. I am extremely intelligent, but am not afraid to ask questions about things I do not understand or know a lot about. I love learning new things :)
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Off and on for a few years.
After I finish school, I would like to get into restate. But until then, I enjoy doing this :)
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel domestically 2-3 times a month and internationally at least once a month. I love to travel!
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Not only training, but experience.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Good, and wanting to quickly schedule our next get together.
