Tell us about your education and professional training.
I graduated from massage school in Israel in 2006. In 2010, I competed 560 education hours in Boston, Massachusetts. I am currently certified through the State of Massachusetts and provide massage therapy in the City of San Francisco, CA.
Why do you love offering massage therapy?
What I love about serving as massage therapist is being able to provide a mental, emotional, and physical connection. Helping others experience a warm touch, a calm mind, and a feeling of being cared for, is important to me because when we get stressed out, we can forget that kind, human connection.
What is continuing education important to you?
People come to me for massage for many differrent reasons. For example, some for relaxation, and others for clinical reasons. If my knowledge of anatomy and physiology is clear, I can better help those who are suffering from chronic pain or minor injuries.
Most people who book massage with me are either:
professionals who sit for many hours at a desk
When I meet these types of clients, I do my research and educate myself about what muscle groups are being compromised and causing chronic pain.
