Learning how to surrender and receive bodywork can take some practice. Ask yourself, “What do I really need?” There may be times when you want to be highly stimulated throughout the session or maybe you just need a decent therapeutic massage. There could be days when your nervous system is in overdrive and you need extremely subtle touch so you can drift off and fully relax.
Communication is important before the session begins so I can choose the right touch, the proper music and create a vibe that ensures I deliver what is needed.

Spring 2022 marks 30 years in this business. It’s been quite a haul. In 1992 I was an excited 31 year old beginning a new journey. After massage school I volunteered and then did some eye-opening workshops which enhanced my practice. Obviously making money is necessary but one thing I learned is that you do this work because you enjoy it. If you don’t enjoy it, it will show through your touch. The hot well-built guys will always have an edge but that’s the nature of the beast, especially in the gay community.

Empathy and compassion are required in this business. Be friendly and kind but never allow anyone to take advantage of you. Decide what your boundaries are. Boundaries can be different with different clients. Also, this a feast or famine business. The drought will come. Most guys will need to supplement their income. I’m an anomaly. I managed to keep my head above water. It’s been a struggle at times. All in all, it takes a certain type of guy to make it long term in this business. Now at 61, my body is feeling 30 years of work but my regular clients still enjoy what I do. I guess I did something right. 🙏

Every masseur and client will have their own boundaries and definition of sensuality and eroticism. What’s sensual to one client can be very different to another.

Mindfulness along with setting the right intention with the right touch is the framework for any bodywork session, especially when working with eros energy.

The main purpose of my work is to bring you to a blissful feeling of self-awareness with no self-judgment, just understanding that the body truly is a temple.

1. Think about how far you will have to travel and also time of day. Basically in the Boston area it is always rush hour. Unless you happen to be nearby, I would avoid 2:30-6:30 time frame.

2. I’m in the Witch City, Salem, MA, a busy tourist town with traffic. There is free on street parking nearby, meters and garages. Give yourself plenty of time to find parking.

3. There are two flights of stairs to maneuver if you have any mobility issues.

4. My preference is advanced booking. Regular clients always get first priority for last minute requests. A minimum of two hours notice is what I mean by last minute.

5. My focus is giving a real full body massage from a non-traditional approach. Please state openly and honestly your needs before we begin.

6. Cash only please. No apps. My fees are very reasonable for the quality work you will receive.

I believe in the power of touch. My goal is to provide a healing and pleasurable experience.

I sometimes ask clients why they chose me over other masseurs. It’s usually location or they like bearded men but mostly its because of my age and experience. There are plenty of guys to choose from here. The key is to find the right guy who is skilled, knows how to connect and can deliver what your body and spirit may need on that particular day.
