The way I massage works with the stress levels and holding patterns of each person. People hold stress differently, though we share the same frame. I use a combination of deep work, relaxing strokes, trigger point therapy, myofascial manipulation and other massage techniques to unwind trauma. As a bodyworker, what makes me stand out, is the number of injuries I have worked through in my body, as well as my degree of education. In the past, I pushed my body too hard, creating blockages and strains that eventually led to broken bones and torn muscles. The need to heal myself and be relatively pain free was what drove me to get an education in bodywork. After finishing school, I continued to study in the areas of psychology, spirituality, self help, exercise, nutrition and massage. When I massage someone, I am working with my intuitive healing sense, the culmination of experience through my pain, the work of other great teachers who have helped me, and a great deal of studying and practice. I'm a passionate, hard working guy, and I have a very good feel for massage. Though I have no reviews posted, people often tell me that my massage is the best or one of the best they have ever received.
I like to kid around, but I'm a straight shooter. I am honest and chill with a quiet, sassy edge. I can come off as shy, but I am not. The circumstances of my life, and the way I have educated myself, often lets me see a great deal in people in terms of the way we disempower ourselves and become stuck in unconscious patterns that create negativity, disease and disability. I think this helps me keep a positive outlook on myself and others. I'm in this line of work because I have a heart-warming time connecting with others. I am generally judgment free and will work on anyone regardless of age or weight. Dancing, music, reading and djing are a few of my favorite things. I go to burning man and other festivals to dance for days and meet people from around the world.
