Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes I do very well. It was at that time I knew how passionate I was about Massage. Hearing the positive feedback was very rewarding.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Absolutely
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Based on the clientele I currently have I would consider myself successful
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
That I’m very easy to talk to and like be what I do. I’m here because of my clients and without them I have nothing.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want someone leaving here in a very relaxed state of mind. I want them to feel as though the time spent here was well worth it.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I ride horses and live on a horse farm. I’m a very outdoors kind of person and absolutely love anything I can do outside.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I’ve always had massages done on me and wanted to be able to give back
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
To be patient with your clients and never be pushy. Just be relaxed and be yourself. Your clients will feel more at ease with someone who is real and not fake
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I can’t say I’m different, but I do like to take my time where the client needs it
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I’ve been doing this on the side of my full time job for over 6 years. I would love to continue for many more years
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel once a month to every other month. I am more of a homebody
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I wouldn’t say extensive training, but training and knowledge are definitely needed
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want them to be 110% satisfied with their session and tell their friends about it. Word of mouth is huge for a good client base.
