Italmscl's Personal Masseur InterviewLast Updated: Oct 09, 00:19
- Yes, I would definiteley recommend extensive training. Not only in learning and perfecting massage techniques, but to be insightful with the anatomy's stress and relief points as well. Knowing the appropriate pressure to apply for every individual, because each person is different. When all of these are refined, and able to build a loyal client base, this is my opinion of a successful masseur.
Practicing good communication skills, respect, and openness to criticism, are key, in every journey of success.
- I want each client to feel that their experience exceeds any prior expectations. To feel ultimately relaxed and blown away from the unique experience. Have them wanting to come back, and to know that each time following will be different from the last, and just as good, if not better.
- I like to travel every other week. I get to see different places and meet great people who aren't just clients, but also become friends. I wouldn't experience any of this if i were a homebody, and wouldn't trade it to become one
- I'd like them to feel confident that they've contacted a professional that's intuitive, accommodating, and respectful. Knowing that I will deliver the same during their session.
- I was a wrestler in high-school, and the gay wrestling league in San Diego, before moving to Fort Lauderdale. The sport, plus many years of weightlifting, provided me the awareness and knowledge of the points that hold the most stress and tightness.
