JakeVIP's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
First client is always hardest. I was super nervous in the beginning but after 20 mins i got relaxed and done my job perfectly. Happy customer = happy me.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
It depends what you call a "successful". I didn't bought a house by working as a masseur but i found many friends and nice community around the world. I always trying to be the best in what i do, that's true.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm a good listener. You can talk to me for an hours and ill still remember what you were talking about in the beginning.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I believe its addiction. I know that i wont be a masseur forever but im sure that i'll miss those days.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel refreshed and i mean not only a body, their mind as well
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I'm an artist. I like to draw, hiking and sport in general.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I was used to work as a spa but realized that customer service is a pure hell. I prefer 1 on 1 talks and quiet atmosphere where i can do my job well. So I start work on website.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Dont be afraid or shy. First customer is always about you being brave enough but not like being a super professional
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I'm sort of rock star personality. I do what i want and say what i want. Always straight to the point. People like it because its pretty rare now days.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Total is around 4 years. How long? Maybe when i'll become a movie star i'll stop.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I like to travel but life trying to make me stay on the same spot. I'm working on it.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I believe you should never stop developing yourself in what you do. Even if you don't really like your job it doesn't mean that you shouldn't learn. My rule is simple - be successful in anything you do.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want them to feel relaxed but energetic at the same time. I want them to feel less pressure on their shoulders and heads. Our life is hard and we should help each other to feel less pressure.
