KevinEagle's Massage Interview
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like to think that they go away feeling relaxed and that it was time worth spent as I had made them feel welcome and reduce any aches they have
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I would like to think that they go away feeling relaxed and that it was time worth spent as I had made them feel welcome and reduce any aches they have
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I like to visit as many different places as possible as you expose yourself to the diverse nature of people and can be used to build a better understanding of the world around you. Unfortunately, practicalities get in the way and limits the traveling I do
Why did you become a Masseur?
I enjoy massages myself and wanted to learn how to reciprocate to others. Once I started giving massages, I never looked back as I enjoy the challenge of relieving people's aches.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
You have to enjoy doing it. If you're bored, it will show in your technique and the person being massaged won't feel the benefits. If you know you've done a good massage, it gives a great sense of satisfaction
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been giving massages for the last twenty five years and I hope to continue for as long as I am physically able to.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Being a masseur is extremely addictive. When you know you gave a good massage, it gives you such a kick of pleasure that you want to do it again
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Having lived most of my life in England, I moved to Florida in December 2015 to enjoy Florida's sunny climes. I'm an easy going guy-next door type.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Love to bowl and cycle. Am an avid Formula One watcher and have a deep love of James Bond films (the official ones) and Star Trek series and films (except Nemesis)
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
It was back in London over 20 years ago. I had given massages to friends and thought I would try doing it professionally. I found that I was very comfortable massaging complete strangers and I have never looked back.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
A professional training course is ideal to get an understanding of the human body and best techniques. However, with the availability of online advice, it makes it easier to perfect a massage routine. Putting the practice time in is essential, no matter what.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
My clients seem happy with my technique, which is all that I want. 43% of my clients are returnees and they account for 72% of visits
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
There is such a large range of masseurs around, so it is hard to say what distinguishes me from other masseurs. I like to promote a friendly atmosphere to ease you into a comfortable session
