LatinoinLB's Massage Interview
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Most of my clients say it's my personality of being a complete nerd and sense of humor.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Make them feel like there VIP, as well as there time valued, relax and a smile with a clear mind.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love traveling, I travel during my school breaks or birthdays. I tend to try to see places I never been to.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I believe so, some clients want a masseur who knows what there actually doing as well as the right "soft" skills are also a critical part of enjoying a successful and fulfilling career.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
About 4 years already and possibly as soon as I graduate and land the career I'd plan on taking.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Just be you, don't lie or be picky cause there are some outstanding people who you may run into in this world.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Never thought I'd be one but just decided to try out massage school and it turned out to be pretty settling.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Go out with friends, travel, pretty adventurous so I'm up to try out new places and things.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Immediately after the session most people feel relaxed, less stressed, and frequently like they need a nap. Some people feel invigorated and want to do something active, and others are very spacy for a while.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
It's quite addicting I've been doing it for 4 years already and been meeting nothing but amazing people so I’d definitely miss it but I’ll gain new friends from it.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Well I'm still a student was at USC and now at CDUDH. I'm quite ambitious, I play soccer for the school, also into boxing and kickboxing for being active, everyone knows me as the smart *** in a sense of humor way, sweet and honest as well as a complete nerd.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I sure did and his still one of my regulars as well as a great friend.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I consider to be successful as for my friendly personality, coupled with my ability to communicate effectively, helps me establish relationships and achieve results, particularly in this business. Of course, I consider myself to be successful in other areas of my life; doing everything I can in life and college is probably one of my greatest successes to continue to do so.
