LifeDancer's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I do remember my first client, it was fun and successful.
I was always told I had "golden hands" when it came to massaging people. I used to do it from an early age. It was an organic decision.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
A massage is more than just touching a person. It's sharing of energies and connecting with the client, it's quite intimate. Yes, I would miss them.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do, cause I am not a mechanical masseur, I try to have an individual approach cause every client is different and has different needs. Again, it's all about sharing of energies.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am a very passionate person, a dreamer, ambitious and a risk taker. Life is too short to be living an ordinary life where you feel stuck and unable to express yourself truly. I am honest and I do care.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
They should feel relaxed, filled with positive energy and ready to concur anything that's in front of them :)
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Dance, yoga, PhD
Why did you become a Masseur?
Because I have a unique touch :)
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Educate yourself, have an open mind, work on yourself, be patient.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My unique touch and the positive energy.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a Masseur the past 3 years and I don't really see myself stopping.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel as much as possible. Love it and will continue doing it. With every travel, we grow immensely.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
It certainly helps but a natural talent is as equally important and that is something you either have or you don't.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
They should feel good about themselves as well as with the whole experience. Again, it's sharing of mutual energies. You feed of off each other.
