LondonRodgers's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I remember the first time. I was just messing with a friend and giving them a rub and they ended up saying they really liked it and that I had a good touch
then I knew I liked it and started doing it all the time to get what I wanted ;)
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
it is definitely easily regularly practiced (fancy way of saying its addictive) lol would for sure miss it
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
yes, I am successful in many ways, but the connections and friendships I've created would without a doubt be the greatest success I've found doing this
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am super friendly and open mineded, and I always strive to be the best!
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
relaxed, empowered, cared about and satisfied
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to read, go to the gym, good entertainment and food
Why did you become a Masseur?
I like meeting new people and feel I have a natural healing touch
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
give it a try! you'll probably like it :)
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I believe everyone brings something to the table and not by any means do I feel better than anyone, but I feel that I truly carry sincere feelings for my fellow person and I treat others like I would want to be treated
satisfaction is my first priority
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I gave my first "professional" massage at 19 so about 6 years
and I would probably be happy doing this forever, getting better and better
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel at least once a month although I do love my home of San Francisco and wouldn't rather be anywhere else
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I would say its good to know techniques and would be able to work areas better on request because of it but I also believe it takes a natural ability/desire to do it well
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
instantly addicted
