Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I am successful in this work that I love. I have been doing it for years and it continues to interest and support me. From the responses I have received from those I've worked with, I know that I am doing good work in the world.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I bring so much of myself to this work. I have meditated for many years so I am grounded and present. I have been a life long dancer and my ability to move and control my body helps me move gracefully around the room. I also work as a Sacred Intimate (thedivinelover.com) and that work supports me in being open and creative. And as I have grown, I know myself and reach out to my clients from a place of complete confidence that allows them to relax and surrender to my care.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
After all these years of giving healing touch, I do feel as though I can't stop my hands from reaching out. When I take a vacation, I find myself really missing not only the touch but the quiet, technology free space of timeless connection. Working in this way is a meditation. And I love being fully present with my clients and nurturing them in ways we both enjoy.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Every client is different. One very stiff client leaves feeling a few years younger as his body is able to move more freely. Another says his hands and face tingle and energy is moving all around his body. For others, its the personal connection and the feeling of being seen and heard. But whether physical, emotional or mental, I want clients to feel great, relaxed and expansive.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Doing sensual bodywork and intimacy work is a calling. There is so much healing that happens when touch and pleasure is shared. Yes, all my clients want to be touched all over, but its more than squeezing and pulling. To me, I feel that I am giving something that is very rare in todays world. I am giving peace and closeness. I am resetting nervous systems and opening hearts. I create a beautiful atmosphere of warmth and personal connection that penetrates deep to free my clients of stress.
