Miguelon - Experienced Male massage therapist in San Francisco, CA

I say this as someone who has had a great deal of bodywork: Miguel is the real deal. He is skilled. He asked me about problem areas, then proceeded to address those areas very effectively. Two thumbs up. On top of that, he’s cute as a button and very sweet. He has his own place in the heart of the Castro.

I’ve never written a review before but felt compelled after my massage with Miguel. The experience started with him giving me a candle to light and put into a Tibetan bowl. The lovely noise emerged from the bowl as he hit it gently asking me to forget about the past, not think about the future, and be here with him. The set up is very relaxing, nice smell, low lighting and of course his body is a lovely sight. He starts with your feet. His medium pressure was deeper than I expected but he picked up on that quickly and lightened his strokes. He did hit the Tibetan bowl a couple of times during the massage to get rid of any bad energy. His energy is awesome; a good connection with a happy personality. He is very skilled. The massage ended with me blowing out the candle as he hit the Tibetan bowl eliminating all bad energy. He is not a clock watcher. I’ve been looking for a new regular since moving to the Bay Area five years ago and I can say that I’ve found him.

Miguel has many great qualities. In addition to his massage skills, two of the most outstanding are his smile (which is 100% genuine) and the words on the wall of his studio; all of which relate to happiness and positive thoughts. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by that captivating smile and made to feel at ease and at peace with myself.

Then came an amazing massage by a strong, intuitive masseur, who just seems to know instinctively where to focus and how much pressure to use. He has many years of massage experience clearly loves what he does.

My time with Miguel gave me the physical benefits of a great massage, and also a general feeling of well being and self awareness that I've not experienced with other masseurs. He has a warm, friendly personality and a great sense of caring. I will definitely return.
