MuscleDadHands's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I discovered that I had a natural gift of kinesthetic connection through my hands and body. A way of sensing what the person I'm with is feeling in the moment. It makes me able to provide an amazing and intense experience to each Client.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I don't do it because I have to. I do it because it allows me to connect and bring joy to someone else in a special way. Has always been part of who I am and can't imagine not doing it.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Absolutely. I can't imagine not achieving success at something that you love doing and that brings joy to you and another person.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Very passionate and feeling person. I have an uncanny ability to connect with people and make them feel at ease with me. Like we have known each other for years. I also have the gift of channeling energy through kinesthetic touch. It helps me know what the person I'm working on needs to have an incredible session. It is the Ability to deeply connect with a person through touch. You'll see.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Like their body has just gone on a journey like never before. Relaxed, sensual, aroused and then completely satisfied yet craving more (next time!)
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Travel, spend time with my dogs, study, read and help other people/volunteer.
Why did you become a Masseur?
To utilize my kinesthetic gifts and bring joy and healing to others. A gift unused is a gift wasted.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Do it for the right reasons and do it to serve others with your gift.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
There are many great masseurs. I believe that an experience with a talented masseur and CMT with kinesthetic perception takes the experience to a whole different level for both myself and the Client. A special experience every time.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Been a masseur for 10+ Years and can't imagine ever stopping as long as I can provide an experience that is worthy.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Love LA and though I love to travel, I find myself traveling locally more. The beaches and the desert.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
It is certainly helpful and somewhat necessary, but like any artform... the innate talent is at the core.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I like to have them feel almost speechless... and many are. They all come back, which speaks for itself, I think.
