- I remember him very well. He was visiting my city on vacation. He'd hurt his back, and he needed some healing touch on his back, glutes and quads. It was a deep massage and somewhat difficult to get it right. But his energy was kind and giving, and the work became a circle of give and take that made for a beautiful collaboration. I've worked on him several times since then, and each time gets better and better.

- I think of each massage interaction as an important relationship in my day. Whether I'm massaging you for the first time or you are a longtime receiver of my massages, I treat that relationship with respect and kindness, and I value it for entering my life. I infuse care and compassion into every touch I give.

- I'm a huge cyclist. Mostly road biking, but I'm starting to get into mountain biking as well. Outside of that I love reading, dancing, working out, and knitting. I've been an avid knitter since I was six and I find it both therapeutic and something to do with my hands when I'm not giving massage.

- My hope is always that anyone who has received a massage from me feels like they walk away with all of their massage needs met... and just a tad extra for luck. I like a lot of communication up front with my massage partners so that I'm very clear about what they're looking for. It is always my aim to please. If someone walks away saying, "Wow, that was exactly what I needed," I feel I've succeeded.

- I love animals! From the furry ones to the creepy crawlies. I feel so lucky to be able to share this planet with all of its creatures. One thing I love about massage is getting to connect with people on an almost animal level. Touch is primal and transcends language. I love that, and I love getting to know people in this compassionate yet "animal" way.
