PEDROLATIN's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
It was a great experience to be able to help someone relax while enjoying my massage technique.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
It is indeed. I make myself available all the time and when I go on a weekend getaway I am already missing being a masseur.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes I do. I have been able to help many clients of which a good percentage are return clients. That by itself tells my clients are satisfied and makes me a successful masseur.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I would like them to know that I am there for them and they can count on my whenever they make an appointment.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like them to leave satisfied and wanting to come back again.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I like going the beach, movies, working out, and traveling among other things.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I love massages. One day I thought I should put my massage skills to work and I did.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
First to ask themselves if they have the required commitment to be a masseur. Then to choose the technique they like or feel most comfortable with.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I provide undivided attention in order to achieve the best experience.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a masseur for two years and I expect to continue for 5 or more years.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I like to travel for massage at least every four to six weeks.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Not necessarily. Once a technique is learned with the minimum amount of time required, the hands-on experience every time a massage is given, helps in perfecting that technique.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I would like the to feel satisfied with the massage and be thinking about setting another appointment in the near future.
