Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I do I was so nervous I would just be all thumbs but the moment I touched him it was like auto pilot my hands traveled across the muscle groups and isolate the areas that needed attention and he was so grateful and told me he would have thought I had been doing this for years. I have always craved physical contact I never got it very much as a child and yearned for it as an adult so I discovered that massage was the perfect career for me.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Absolutely the connection you establish with your clients is irreplaceable. Being able to help people and relieve their tension and pain is super rewarding
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Of course repeat and regular clients assure me I’m doing a good job
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I’m 34 athletic and a firecracker I’m funny witty very intelligent and spontaneous because those once in a lifetime never happen again moments never hit on a schedule. One thing I would like my clients to know is on deep tissue I use my elbows
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Uplifted renewed and completely satisfied.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to rock climb read paint sing and write
Why did you become a Masseur?
To help people and to connect in a mutually beneficial way
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Your touch does not lie be honest in your intentions and you will be amazing
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Is that my consultations are in depth relevant and I give knowledge about natural anti inflammatory foods that can relieve some daily discomforts
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a masseur since 2008
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel a good but I love to see new places but I am also a homebody and love being around familiar people and places
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
No but as you progress on your journey you’ll want to learn to do more because the more you know the more you can help and continuing education make you stand out among your peers
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want them to feel fulfilled and renewed and satisfied like they have a new lease on life and now they are energized and can take on the world
