TantraNihal's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I have always had a natural knack for this type of work - I remember massing myself/friends in high school and getting the best compliments even then before I started doing this professionally. Now it is a joy to offer sensual massage with focus on whole body integration.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes, I would. Even though I am also a product manager, and User Experience expertise, I miss my using my hands to give massage. I always come back for it even if not doing it all the time.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes! I Do! I have very particular offerings. I really enjoy helping people release tension that they didn't even know they were holding onto. It can be life changing.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'd like them to know that I also practice/teach kundalini yoga which increased my subtle sensitivity enabling me to connect deeper inside of a massage session....and helping you to have a more focussed connection with yourself.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I'd like them to feel transformed not only in body, but also in mind and spirit.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy traveling, being with my loved ones, and reading new things.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Because people need the unique expertise that I have to offer. Iv'e found that I have the ability to heal through massage, not only physically but mind & spirit as well.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Try to tap into Yourself more, it will help you intuit what will be most effective healing for others as well.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My unique ability to heal through massage. The integrative body, mind, spirit connection that I help others to tap into.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
5 years, this is lifelong even if i am not doing this as primary work.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love to travel. I went to 4 different countries last year and two so far this year.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
It is helpful of course.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I like them to feel the positive effects of the session for many days after..
