TantricAce's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I vaguely remember, all I can recall of course is being nervous and not knowing what exactly to expect. It went well though and the client recommended this site and its been history ever since.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I go back and forth between whether I would miss it or not. I've got to meet some great people so I think that's what I would miss most.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Sometimes business is booming, sometimes business is slow. I've had the opportunity to have some regular clients, so I'd definitely say that I've been successful.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm just an all-around creative, I love the arts, seeing museums and galleries. I'd love to travel and see the world.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Satisfied, and thinking about how soon they can return for another session.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Art, photography, podcasting, gaming, travelling. I like to hike and workout as well. I like to shoot pool (I'm not that good lol) watch some tv, I also love to read, and thrift shop.
Why did you become a Masseur?
It was something to do on the side, to kind of help myself financially. I also find anatomy interesting, and the responses you can hear and see from stimulating someone.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Its not easy, make sure you set your boundaries.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I'm myself, I'm not really worried about what other masseurs are doing. I'm genuine and non-judgmental, and I aim to do my job well. I try to develop my own massage style and cater to my client's needs.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
A little over 3 years now and I would continue. I think I should travel more with it, just to add more of a spark and also build more of a clientele base.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I would love to trave more, however there are some restrictions.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I think some training is required definitely. I also think it's important to have your own technique that makes you stand out.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Satisfied and wanting more. I want to them to anticipate returning to see me .
