TheMasseur's Personal Masseur InterviewLast Updated: Oct 02, 11:47
- Well there is only one of me, everyone is different we are not copies of one another. I always find it to be important that we have a clear understanding of ourselves and to accept and be proud of our originality and not try to be someone else for we all have something special to offer with our essence. I can't speak for other Masseurs and I won't claim to be better than other Masseurs but what I will say is that I love being a massage therapist and what is important to me is that you have a great experience and that you leave very happy!
- I want them to be in Heaven in the aspect of being truly happy in having had a fulfilling massage experience where they are addicted to me and my touch and will want to see me for years to come as loyal client and friend.
- No experience is not necessary, I truly believe there are people who simply are gifted with hands that make people feel really good. They may have no experience no formal training but they have it and that is something truly special!
- I love to travel and want to do some traveling this year, but I'm a combination of a homebody and a traveler. ;)
- I have been a massage therapist for 5 years and I will continue forever!
- I would recommend you getting formal training, and also hire some masseurs to pick up different techniques that you may want to use when you have your own clients.
- I became a Masseur because a friend of mine was a masseur and he always spoke very highly over the profession he was happy and found it to be very rewarding and this is what inspired me to get into the business.
- My hobbies are working out at the gym, going hiking, running, writing, creating artwork, cooking, baking, shopping, the movies, the beach, traveling, trying out a new restaurant or lounge and more.
- I want all of my clients to be happy and have an unforgettable massage experience where they will want to come back and see me again and again and refer me to there friends.
- That I'm a caring nurturing guy that's why I love giving massage and making people feel good in a physical way but also a mental way by listening to them and always trying to be positive source for them to confine to.
- I consider myself at times to be a successful masseur, and other times I don't because this business is similar to real estate or the stock market it goes up and there is a lot of activity and then it goes down business can get slow. The key for longevity is to never give up and of course having a number of regular clients but even your regular clients can disappear. I am only speaking for myself there may be masseurs that have been blessed to be busy everyday with 3 clients or more a day and may have a rolodex of a 100 regular clients they see every month I just don't happen to be one of them.
- Yes I love being a Massage Therapist, it's a very rewarding career. I get to meet interesting men from all over the world, I myself am able to travel and get to see other cities and countries and take my business on the road. I find being a massage therapist is rewarding because I am able to help people feel good in the sense of pampering there bodies and also being there personal psychologist where I listen to them, and even voice my opinions in away they kind of get two services in one. I also find being a massage therapist is therapeutic for me because its a low stress career, I am my own boss and can essentially set my own hrs.
- I had a friend of mine who was a masseur and he kind of inspired me to get into the business. Initially when I started I did not have any formal training, but learned techniques from fellow masseurs. I later decided to get into a massage program where I attained my certification as a massage therapist. Do I remember my 1st client? Hmm I kind of remember my very 1st clients but no I do not remember my 1st client I'm sure I was probably nervous, but I would always try and give my 100%.
