TimNWHou's Massage Interview
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, I have been doing this for over 10 years and I have built up a good number of returning clients over the years
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I went and still go to a lot of different masseurs and as I lay on their tables I think of the type of massage and touch they are providing and if I like it, I incorporate it in my massages.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
playing golf and traveling
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I first want them to be relaxed when they arrive. I understand how going to someone's home the first time can make one nervous. I hope when they leave they feel refreshed, relaxed and wanting to return to me.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am a people person. I am in the education field and I enjoy making people, especially men feel good.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I was a bit nervous. Worried that he wouldn't enjoy the massage.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes, I have met a lot of guys of all backrounds and ethnicities. I have a good returning clientelle that I can call friends.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to be leave refreshed, relaxed and hopefully say I was a nice guy.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Meet guys from all walks of life and help them feel relaxed.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Be yourself and always give a complete massage. If it is an hour long, massage for that entire hour. Guys are paying for a product.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I don't know how to answer that. I would hope that all the guys on here are honest, friendly nice people like I am
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Over 10 years. That's a good question. :)
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel often. I have been over seas 3 times in the past 18 months for vacations as well as traveling through out the US as well.
