VersHandsForU's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
After I did my first massage I realized that I felt as relaxed as the client did. Listening to their stories, enjoying the human touch, it all fell into place for me.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I have been a masseur for 14 years and have not heard a complaint. It feels great when your guest leaves with a smile on their face and they thank you for an incredible massage.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love to travel and my other profession takes me around the world. I don't travel as much as I used to, but definitely enjoy when I do. I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I like them to feel happy, satisfied and much more relaxed than when they walked in. Full satisfaction is my goal.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Like any other profession, it isn't always just about the training or technique. It is about the person and their personality, respect and execution. I appreciate the person that chose me to work on them. It says a lot, therefore I will make sure to show my gratitude by offering an incredible massage experience.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Learn your craft, be respectful and be yourself. Always give what you offer and don't try to short change anyone in any way.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love the outdoors, dancing, the theatre, going to the movies, staying at home watching tv. The beach or swimming pool are my favorite places too.
