WayneNola's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yeah, he was a very gentle attorney, it surprised me and always surprises me how nervous people are to get a nude massage. We made the best of our time and I’m so happy to help out.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Oh yes, the confidence boost I get when receiving a booking notification definitely sets off the serotonin release.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Nah, I’m amateur at most, this side gig is very fulfilling after working alone all day and my clients love my work.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Hmmm let’s keep this one a secret. Book me to find out more about me :)
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
The best massages I’ve had I’ve always left and when I got outside I just said. WOW. So relieved and fulfilled. I’d want them to fill like that.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Massage haha. Nah I also really like movies, seeing friends for drinks and traveling.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I tell my friends it’s for extra money to help travel. I tell myself…that it is for the confidence boost.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Try it out! You never know if your gonna like it. Do have oils, be punctual and have boundaries. Don’t be afraid to say no, bc if you’re uncomfortable then it’s not gonna be fun.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Get on my table and find out.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
A year or so, and honestly I’ll keep going as long as I get bookings.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Once a month or more.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I’d say yes, but not all training has to be in a classroom. I’ve read blogs, books and watched videos to get better. If you’re not improving everyday… you’ll get left behind.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want clients to feel valued and that I’ve enriched their life in the same way they’ve enriched mine.
