Why would I travel over 60 miles for a 60-minute massage? Because Marcus is that good. Upon entry into his home studio, Marcus greets me with a big hug and welcoming smile like an old friend. Being a therapist myself, my profession involves me physically helping people get out of bed and sometimes strenuously getting them to move, thus my body requires extensive work, but I enjoy a relaxing session as well. Well-versed in his craft, Marcus was able to balance the massage session based upon what I needed. He inquired about specific regions on my body that needs attention, but also has an innate ability to effectively pinpoint and work on my problem areas, apply the right amount pressure and release, and even come back to those areas if needed during a full-body massage session. His attention to detail is superb: from alleviating the tension in my neck and shoulders, to incorporating stretches that effectively reduces the tightness in my lower back, hips and legs. Almost in a zen-like state, I'm like a wet noodle coming off the massage table.
