anthonyjason's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I am not sure if this counts as a client story but here it goes!
I realized I loved doing massage, and that I was good at it as a way to seduce my "straight" friends when I was younger. They were sore from working out or playing sports and I would offer them a massage... first pants came off.. then underwear... Let's just say I understood pretty early on a man's good touch can do to another man. From there I have developed my interest into a skill/job.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yeah! It's fun!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Well- I have never had any complaints so in my mind that means success!
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I like to talk- maybe a bit too much haha
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relaxed and satisfied, or maybe wanting more.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to cook! And explore the city.
Why did you become a Masseur?
See the answer to question one.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Patience is key, and you have to be open to all kinds of people.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I have been told that I am very respectful- I understand that I am working with YOUR body not my own and I make sure that you are comfortable every step of the way.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Professionally for about a year. I could see myself doing this occasionally for a long time.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel to most of my clients.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes and no. As with anything some people have a natural talent/skill but training is hardly ever a bad thing. It only helps you to improve!
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Satisfied.
