chrisvargo's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Massage for me has been an art form I've practiced all my life. When I found that touch helped to soothe a person's body, mind and spirit, it ignited a fire in me that burns until today.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
What I have gained through the thousands of people that I have helped through touch has made me the immortal spirit that I am today.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
YES!
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I live an adventure, and love to explore nature. Through that, I am able to nurture the beauty of nature in you.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I wish for them to take a memory that will encourage them to dare their dream and live their life to the fullest.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Explore every aspect of my God-given skills.
Why did you become a Masseur?
When I was a child, I was watching Jerry Lewis give Dean Martin a massage in the movie, "The Water Boy," on a black and white TV, and from that moment, a masseur was born.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Make sure you're doing it because it's your passion... not because you need the money.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My longevity, my commitment and the peaceful environment that I stand in.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Forever and ever.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I have travelled the world being a masseur and personal trainer, and now I love the peace of the environment that I have created here in Palm Springs over the last 30 years. Come enjoy it with me.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
No.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want them to feel like we have become one with each other (and for me to long for their return as much as they long to be retouched).
