I start with a set of stroking movements. They consist of a series of long, gliding or circular massage strokes that is applied using different degrees of pressure, varying on the needs of the patient. After the muscles have been warmed up, I’ll compress soft tissue of certain areas through rhythmic kneading, squeezing, or rolling. These movements and techniques I’ve learned are useful for stretching and loosening tense muscles, as well as improving blood circulation and detoxifying the body.
