davidmartins's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I remember I was a little nervous with my first client, but at the end of the massage he praised me a lot and that motivated me a lot to continue. I was very happy that my client liked the massage and since that day I started to improve my techniques more.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes, I will miss seeing happy and satisfied customers. This is very satisfying and I would definitely miss it.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I consider myself a person who enjoys the work I do and I do my best for my clients.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love electronic music and in my free time I like to produce my own music. I like going to the gym and going for walks.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I would like my clients to know that I do not offer a simple massage.
I offer my affection and my attention. We live in a world where people hardly care about each other and I want my clients to know that I care about them. I don't want them to see me only as a masseur but also as a friend.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like that when a client comes in for a massage, he leaves all his worries aside and leaves lighter and with a relaxed mind and body and, above all, happy
Why did you become a Masseur?
I became a masseuse by accident. I used to massage my friends and relatives. They all said that I should work as a masseur so I decided to take a course and become a masseur
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
You have to like the profession and treat people with affection whoever they are.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I don't consider myself better than anyone. I just do my job with care and dedication.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I've been doing massage professionally for 3 years and honestly I don't know when I'll stop
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I'm always traveling. I don't stop. Every week I'm in a different place
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes I believe training and discipline is necessary for a successful masseur.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
