Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I don't believe so. I started school for massage and wasn't able to finish, however, I have clients say that I tend to give a better massage than some of the professionally trained masseurs out there. I feel that if you create a connection, a rapport, with your client and you're good at what you do, it doesn't matter.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I tend to travel a lot. I work for a company in the travel business, so you could say that I love to travel.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
The short story is yes! I've been massaging since 2013. Because of changing career fields in 2015, I had to take time off (about 2 years to be exact) and I've recently come back into the field because I have missed it and enjoy helping others.
