Atlman's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I worked on my first client as a massage school student. But before that, I was always giving back rubs to my mother and siblings will growing up.
I have been told that I have a 'magic touch'
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I consider my practice to be successful because I am able to help people with their physical issues. I am also happy to be able to help people with the emotional and spiritual issues by doing energy work, Polarity Therapy, Reiki, and intuitive hands on healing technique.
I have many regular clients too, and that feels like success to me.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I have done massage since 1996 and I think I would miss working with people. I have adapted my routine in or to save my thumbs and lower back, so I expect to continue massage for quite some time.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want my guys to feel relaxed, floaty, satisfied, and wishing in wasn't over.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Garden, exercise, travel, and I love boating
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I enjoy helping others feel well and at ease
Why did you become a Masseur?
Because I connect with my clients and like them to enjoy the experience.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Doing massage is personal and intimate.
It can also be physically demanding on busy days.
Don't go into massage just for the money. If you don't like connecting with people and staying present with them, do something else.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I'm a big guy with a big heart and other organs
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have done massage since 1996 and plan on continuing for 6-10 years more.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel at least 5 times a year. I love experiencing new places and meeting new people.
My Home is really nice too and I love it there.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
That depends on what type of experience you are looking for.
I combine therapy and sensual in my work
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Eager to come again
