Chrismun's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client was great , I was very nervous and the day we had our first appointment the air container was not working in the building , we had a pretty hot session , it was awesome .
It was in Jan of 2012 , I knew that it was I wanted to do , I had so many friends and family tell me I had the healing hands for it . I enrolled in Massage Therapy School in 2012 !!! It's been a fulfilling experience .
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes I would say that I am a successful Masseur , I think hat being a success means living and loving what I do, with that being said my answer is yes.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Rested rejuvenated released and relaxed , I have had clients say that the sessions we have had allowed them to leave some problems and negatively related to stress behind .
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
No , because they will never end it's my life !
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
That they are in good hands and that it's okay to touch , some clients are shy and I want them to have an awesome experience .
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy playing Rugby and I I have fun playing volleyball . Believe it or not I enjoy cooking and feeding family and friends . I enjoy playing with my two dogs Maddy and Chumlee
Why did you become a Masseur?
I have often been told by friends and family that I was good at it , I am fulfilled with making people feel better about themselves and feeling great when we are done with a session .
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
I would say that it's a very fulfilling career to have , but it requires focus , training and retraining new techniques. It's very interesting and a pleasure to be in the wellness world .
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Me !!!!!
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
About three years and I will continue as long as I am able
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Homebody
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Absolutely
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Drunk. Lol. They feel like where are my legs and can I get up after this out of body experience .
