GuillermoPhilly's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
So I’ve new to rentmasseur.com but not to providing my skilled technique to the masses. I’ve always loved the body contact of a massage and after years of providing an alternative for my friends who repeatedly had bad massage sessions, i bit the bullet about 7 years ago. Even after years of free massages, i still remember my first client experience- straight, clothed but then unexpected. Who knew everyone loves a happy ending to their day. Lol
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Would say yes, given I have repeat clients. Being new to this platform, I still trying to figure out why it’s so scary for clients to leave reviews.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Massages are just as therapeutic for my clients as it is for me. Would miss it as my daily dose of therapy and energy release.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I’m a Jack of all trades and extremely creative person.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Fully pleased and not greasy lol
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m an artist painting almost daily.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Honestly, have extra time on my hands while i work on my “9-5” and made sense as everyone always would say I should do it professionally.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Would say it’s my attention to details and flow of my hands.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Make sure you are comfortable as it won’t work otherwise.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
About 7 years off RM and 3.5 months on here.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Travel a lot personally as much as I can but definitely when local a homebody.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Would say it depends. I believe some people including myself have the endurance and love the contact of massaging someone’s body.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Clients should feel that it was unexpectedly enjoyable vs just a decent massage.
