Heretorelaxyou's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes it was at school for my training, it was a male that noone wanted to work on because he was 300 lbs. I accepted the challenge and he was very
satisfied with my work. He came back while I did my training
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I love working on people thats why I went to the school and became a massage therapist. I wish I could do this everyday.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do. Its very rewarding when I massage someone and they love my work
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
That would be my positive energy. Many clients tell me I posses somenthing special in me. Its hard to describe but every time my hands touch a body they say they can feel not just my hands but also the way I heal.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like for them to feel satisfied and pleased. When I have a returnig client that tells me I did my job the first time they visited
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy exercising a lot(Going to the gym)
They told us in school we have to keep ourselves in good shape
Massaging takes lots of energy and thats why we need to exercise
Why did you become a Masseur?
I never thought of becoming a masseur until someone received a massage from me and told me I had healing hands. I never regret it
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Becoming a masseur is not just touching a body. It is a lot more than that. It is providing an excellent way to communicate with your clients
thru the body touch.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I always try to do my best to satisfy every client I see. My intuition
is very productive on every client. I apply the right pressure and make sure my clients get a lot more of what they pay.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I graduated in 2010. Some of my clients I had in school kept me cause they liked my work. I will continue until my hands are no longer able
to do massage
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love traveling. Going places and meeting new people is so rewarding for me.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes it is and continuing learning more tecniques should be the goal of every massage therapist. School provides just the neccesary but going to school to learn more every year is very essential
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I always like to hear from my clients how they feel after the massage. At school we always did a survey on every client I massaged. Sometimes we do not hear that from them. I like my clients to feel satisfied and relieved.
