JasonDutch's Massage Interview
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I have a life long passion for printing and independent publishing such as zines and the DIY press. I also love to cook and eat, and absolutely love to travel. Community is important to me, and I am usually working on advocacy and activism in some form or another.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I certainly don't have any plans to stop soon — you meet so many amazing people and unlock new levels of physical touch with every client. Can't imagine giving that up, not for a long while.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I sure do! He was handsome and friendly, maybe a little handsy but I didn’t mind. I joked that he kinda looked like he could be my Uncle - he called me Neph the rest of the session. Ended up becoming a regular booking with lots of exploration.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel very often - always had an itching in my feet! As an American based in Toronto I’m crossing back and forth frequently, and love to visit my family, friends and clients in Buffalo, Philly, NYC, Chicago, Cali, the PNW and beyond.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel like they had no idea it was going to be so relaxing, sensual, and hot! A sense of relief should wash over the client as the session winds down and I like to have a bit of a closing chat, continuing to get to know each other. I’m endlessly interested in people and find that making the whole experience welcoming and friendly allows both of us to relax and give in to a great time.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I started when I was a young gun back in 2013 or so. Took a break between 2015-2021 but I am very glad to be back and look forward to many more years of service
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I’ve never thought about it much, but yes, of course! The great feedback and loyalty I get from clients always makes me feel satisfied, and I genuinely feel like I do good in the world - hard working men deserve to treat themselves here and there and I provide an outlet for that. Sounds like success to me!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Well, if you haven’t k noticed, I’m a big boy! Guys tell me all the time that they are into my body type, and while I find myself attracted to a very wide range of men, I’m glad I can appeal to those clients who prefer a stronger, beefier bear dude like me
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Always ask for feedback. Always bring everything you might need. Always remember to center breathing - yours and his. And always be yourself!
Why did you become a Masseur?
I always knew I would offer a personal service like this. Once I was settled at school, it was the perfect time to give it a shot and hey, no regrets
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I want my clients to know that I genuinely enjoy this work and am always finding new intrigues and experiences with clients - please join me!
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Education is an ongoing process. The key is to always stay curious and never stop learning
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Like a whole new man.
