Levioxxx's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
It was a relaxed and chill experience and I happened to be with another friend working in Palm Springs
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I try to travel pretty frequently and I am very much someone who likes to travel and explore new places and cities. I’m always looking forward and willing to take a trip to a place I’ve never been before.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I think it’s important for someone coming into the job to have understanding of the physicality and anatomy of the human body and be aware of how to navigate that aspect of it.
However, someone cannot be trained to manifest and provide the energy and vibe that is necessary to connect with people or feel tension and be able to understand how to relieve that.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Being a professional, having consistent communication and showing up/ being present are the key factors in connecting with clients.
In my opinion those factors are the most important key things to remember while doing this job.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to travel to new places, walk around whatever city I’m in, try new restaurants, take photos, go shopping and create memories.
Whether it’s just to meet new people, connect with people, some food and drinks, or music (I love a chill movie night in too) I feel complete when i spend my time connected to my environment even if I’m by myself for the moment.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
So far so good, I’ve met a few really good friends through initial communications and professional experiences and tons of genuinely good people throughout my time working in the industry
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I’m told my looks stand out to people, but I’ve always been pretty oblivious to that. I think the thing that gets more attention than anything is that I like to connect with people and engage in interesting conversations, I’m educated but also experienced in many different fields which makes me adaptable. Throw me into any environment and I can navigate my surroundings
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I’m genuine and kind and have respect for others and will never be quiet when I see bad being done to others and always use my voice to speak for anyone who may not be able to speak up for themselves. What’s right is right.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relaxed, happy, and like it was what they were expecting if not better
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I would definitely miss my travels, the people I’ve met and the experiences I’ve had doing this job.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Because I enjoy the social and physical connection.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
3 years and as long as I am still enjoying my experiences
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, but I am new to this site so I am hoping to get the initial opportunity to make some new professional contacts and get a few reviews under my belt!
