MasseurSE's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I was both nervous and excited. I wanted my first client to have an amazing experience, so I had high expectations of myself, while simultaneously I was excited to turn doing what I love into a fulfilling career.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love fitness and exercise, especially lifting at the gym and swimming.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want my clients to feel refreshed and completely relaxed. My goal is that they feel a tangible improvement to their quality of life as a result of our massage session together.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Quality experience with a variety of people with different goals and preferences is essential to becoming a good masseur, as well as being thorough and receptive to the feedback they provide.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel every quarter on average, I love exploring new places and discovering new experiences. However, I also really enjoy cosy stay-in days at home, so a good balance is important to me.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I've been a professional masseur for a year now, and I find the work very fulfilling, so I think I'll continue for many years to come.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My attention to detail sets me apart - I ensure that everything is right so that my clients feel comfortable and can receive their massage in a relaxing and welcoming environment.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
I would advice them to take care of their bodies through exercise and a healthy diet, and to practice mobility to ensure that they are ready and fit to deliver a great massage experience to their clients.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I've had a passion for self care and wellness for a long time, and enjoy activities that contribute to my health like exercise and massage.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel a tangible improvement in their mood and body condition.
