ModelManJacob's Massage Interview
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I've been dancing for about 12 years now and am in LA to pursue a career as an actor and model. In my down time I like to work on my craft, dance, hang with friends, go on spontaneous adventures, read, and travel! As much as I love my alone time, I'm also pretty social so I love to be around people!
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I LOVE TRAVELING. I've been to 15 countries and counting. But some of my favorite places I've been was Kauai, Bora Bora, and France. If you're curious, I'd be more than happy to share some travel stories with you! :)
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I'm a great listener and a conversationalist. My goal as a masseuse isn't simply to deliver an amazing massage, but it's to also create a safe and comfortable space to exchange deep conversation, introspective thoughts, and a genuine connection.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Like they were just left on a cliffhanger of their favorite show. Satisfied with how it went but craving for more.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Training, yes.
Extensive, no.
I do agree, if you have extensive training it can only do you good.
However, I also believe, like many things, the best way to learn and grow is to be in the art itself. Being a masseur is about trial and error and constant growth.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
To have formed a satisfying, comfortable, trusting, and memorable experience.
Why did you become a Masseur?
It's a great skill to have. A great way to learn more about the human body, what it lacks and what it needs. I've always had issues with my back. I figured if I could learn how to ease pain, tightness, and soreness for others I could also learn how to do it for myself!
