Spunk's Massage Interview
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relaxation isn't just about proper muscle tension relief, it's also about mental tension release. I like to create an atmosphere that can be relaxing and enjoyable for mind, body and spirit. This normally involves a proper welcome hug and a few laughs.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I remember all my clients! I decided to be a Masseur when friends continually mentioned how good my touch is.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I'm going to spend my time enjoying the moment, not thinking about a futuristic "sad" moment. :)
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Absolutely
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'd like my clients to know that I respect and appreciate them and expect the same in return. We are humans choosing to share in intimate moments - let's honor all that entails.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
There is no such thing as spare time! I like to stay active with a gym routine, writing, reading. Love camping and adventures. Constantly trying new things to spice it up.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I became a Masseur because it is something I enjoy, I can be my own boss and it allows me the time to pursue my creative endeavors/passions.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Communication is key! Consent goes both ways - no matter what. Learn what you do best while working on all of it.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I put a lot of work into who I am and encourage my clients to do the same. Getting a massage can be both relaxing and empowering when we learn what our bodies are trying to tell us.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a Masseur off and on for almost 10 years and I'm going to continue to be a Masseur until I can't use my hands to heal.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel as often as possible and definitely make an amazing travel companion.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Of course not. Caring about clients and the body as an opportunity makes you a success.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I like clients to leave feeling how they want to feel and that may change visit to visit. Regardless, I want them to leave feeling like they utilized their communication skills (including non-verbal communication), like they enjoyed their time and, of course, thinking that I'm a fun, s*xy mother f*cker. :)
