Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I had my first client during my internship. After my initial apprehension, I remember quickly getting "into the zone" and establishing a connection through my craft. It was a powerful reminder of why I do what I do!
Why did you become a Masseur?
I decided to become a masseur at a relatively early part of my career. I was interested in improving physical and mental wellness in a diverse range of clients. My passion has sustained me and challenged me to improve my craft.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have over a decade's experience (since 2009) as a masseur, and I hope to continue for many, many years to come!
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm naturally an easygoing person who accepts clients from all walks of life. I approach my practice from a perspective of curiosity and enjoy learning from my clients.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I hope to meet the individual and unique needs of each client I meet.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
It's certainly a passion that I would be hard pressed to step away from. My clients help inspire me and continuously challenge me.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
My many years of experience and unique approaches to the practice have made me successful in my career. I have had clients from different geographical locations remember me during my travels, which feels gratifying as a masseur.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like for them to feel that I created a space for them to heal, to be heard, and to have their specific needs addressed.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
When I'm not giving massages, I enjoy reading, meeting up with friends, and exploring nature.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
In addition to my technical skills as a masseur, I bring a humanistic aspect to my practice.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I offer home services currently and am particularly mindful of safety precautions during this time.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I believe it is important to possess both technical knowledge, extensive training, and passion for the craft to become a successful masseur that your clients will want to come back to again and again!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
go and do it a great opportunity ,remember that you area great peace of energy for another
