WestValleyBro's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client was a friend who I had always found pretty attractive so I was excited when he said I could get my hands on him. I was able to practice my new found skill set on him and release a lot of tension
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I absolutely would miss it! I love the feeling of helping people and letting them feel healed and relieved from my touch.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do, I have always worked on the human body and I have developed many good relationships with clients along the way who have since become friends.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I love mutual touch
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel happy from being in my presence and their body to be at peace and rest
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I think it is yes. I have been working on people for 15 years but I got my start learning from an acupuncturist in Maui.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I work on project cars in my spare time… I’m quite a gear head
Why did you become a Masseur?
I enjoy getting to meet new people and be active in this career. I get to use my strength and knowledge from my kinesiology degree and apply those lessons to you
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
I would say to always be friendly and compassionate. Most people coming for a massage are looking to be touched and experience a service of relaxation and peace.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My massages are genuine and professional, I have a great touch and I can communicate with body language
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been doing massage for 15 years and I don’t see myself slowing down anytime soon, I’m eternally grateful to RentMasseur.com for creating a community of amazing clients and other massage therapists
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I am happy to travel or be home for my massages. I love driving so I’m generally happy to travel when the opportunity arrives
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want clients to feel at peace and comfortable in their own skin. We don’t love our own bodies enough and if i can change that for even a small amount of time for someone I know I have made a difference for them
