patrik's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first time was a great experience! I was nervous as hell going into it, but quickly loosed up. I practiced on my bestfriend several times to get my technique down. The client was very sweet and made me comfortable. Ever since then I have loved it!!
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I pride myself in offering a comfortable, relaxing, spa like environment! Most of my clients seem a little nervous when arriving, but by time they leave they are so relaxed!! I want you to have an enjoyable expierence and return within a few weeks!!
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I would! I enjoy helping some who is stress relax!! I know how a massage can release all your troubles if done right!!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do! I have slowly built a steady client base!!
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am a simple guy, I don't ask for much out of life! I enjoy every day and try to live a healthy life!! I am good at what I do, and love using my talents to make you feel better!!
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I am with hanging out with my best friend or shopping!! Lol and sometimes both!!!
Why did you become a Masseur?
To supplement income, now I have a steady clientele and go to school full time.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Make sure this is something you truly want to do!! You are going to run into clients that just make you feel so...ugh...you just have to be prepared for every situation!!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I am one of few still left out there that still offer a true therapeutic massage!!! Most masseurs do what I call 'rub and tugs'!! I don't offer that!! You will truly leave me refreshed and relaxed!!
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I am working on 1.5 years. I love my clients and love what I do!
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I always prefer my clients to come to me for the first massage. After our first massage and we have built that relationship then I will travel to you!!
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
It defiantly helps, at least have someone you can practice on.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Refreshed, renewed, and relaxed!!
