Aidencross's Personal Masseur Interview
Last Updated: Feb 16, 2020

1
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?

- Miss it? Why would I leave it?

2
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?

- Id say so, there is always more room for improvement, I try to work on my craft every chance that I get.

3
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?

- About me... Im from California, originally, LA, I have the cutest little dog named Cheech. I love the outdoors, going on hikes, doing Crossfit and staying healthy. Long walks on the beach in the rain, Pina Coladas, yadda yadda.

Come find out ;)

4
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?

- Again, I believe my reviews speak for themselves, you can see how my clients feel when they leave. I'd say I want them to feel like I outdid myself in my service. I'd say I accomplish that.

5
Why did you become a Masseur?

- As a massage therapist, I would find some of my clients attractive and would want to do more, at times, but as an ethical massage therapist I would make sure to keep it professional between myself and my clients. I then found that there was a service that people would use to have experienced massage therapists work on their bodies AND you were encouraged to wear minimal clothing and massage away. I was SOLD!

6
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?

- Make sure you have some sort of knowledge to start out with, don't just jump in without it you will create a bad name for yourself and word will spread, especially through your reviews. Who leaves good reviews? No one. If you go on Yelp, you will see most, if not all, of the reviews people leave are either because a service provider outdid themselves in their service or they sucked, plain and simple. There is no in between.

That being said, if you have the experience and knowledge I would advise to get accurate pictures that represent you, the tools required to succeed, I.E. A massage table, oils, candles, towels, everything needed to provide the best experience for your client. And then just have fun with it, be yourself and they will love you for that.

7
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?

- I don't knock my competition. I think we all have something special to offer. As far as what distinguishes me from my competition I would say that I strive to be the best I can, keeping up with my body in the gym, always trying to expand my knowledge on new techniques I could utilize, I am always putting in a maximum amount of effort to be able to provide the best experience for my clients.

8
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?

- Im a bit of a bookworm, I love to read anything that forces me to think creatively and assess where I am in life and where I want to be. Right now I am currently enrolled in classes at the University of Utah so that also takes up a lot of my time. However I always try to work my clients around my schedule giving them the utmost importance. They deserve nothing less.

9
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?

- I have been a massage therapist for over 3 years now. I have been a Masseur though for a little over a year and a half. I really enjoy my job. Im luck that I can say that. I enjoy finding the calcified fascia in the human body and using various techniques to be able to relieve you of the tension that has built up due to day to day activities or lack thereof. Plus touching other attractive men with limited clothing, whats not to love. I don't see myself stopping anytime soon.

10
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?

- I travel probably about 3-4 times a year, so not too often. I like to take my dog with me whenever I do go. He loves getting out of the house and its kind of my motivation to do so rather than stay inside and do homework. I still try to take my books with me wherever I go, always learning.

11
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?

- I don't know about extensive training, however, one should definitely go about getting some sort of training before manipulating the human body.
The best way to do this, in my experience, is to go to school and study hands on. Everyone learns differently, but I personally learn by doing.
I've been doing massage for 3+ years now and I'd say my schooling has definitely helped me become a better Masseur.

12
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?

- I believe my reviews speak for themselves ;)
