Just got back tonight from an amazing experience. "The Mankind Project" New Warrior Training outside Cold Spring, N.Y. in Camp Surprise. I actually feel like I have had an exorcism. Powerful, moving experience. Connecting with almost 100 men, initiates, staff...breaking OPEN my heart...a strange kind of healing or at least the beginning of one? Making new friends, exploring a different kind of intimacy in my life
that I had forgotten I was capable or that even existed. Feeling almost purified. I am afraid. I am afraid of being alone. But now I know that new friends are possible. It's been so long.
I took out an old song I wrote years and years ago about PRIDE. "Take Pride in yourself" I wrote that?! I want to be with the trees and wild cats; I want to run to the ocean and stare at the horizon, just counting the waves. Now jazz, WBGO, gotta turn the mattress. Haven't done that in a while. Maybe some Pinot Noir; but only after I turn that mattress. Planning on three nights of no wine--only writing and music. Perhaps a phone call to a new friend or two. Does wine keep me from reaching my full potential? It relaxes the straight jacket I make myself wear.
I have decided to open up the table for two hours today (a rarity, as I usually don't book sessions on Sundays). The catch: It's only for the next TWO hours. If you are looking to relax on an early Sunday morning, and want to get the day started off right, book a session!! Don't bother going online to book. Contact me ASAP @
Thank you to Desboi for giving me another 5 star review after his massage yesterday - completely unsolicited I might add. I didn't ask (I rarely do) but he just felt he wanted to show his appreciation.
Little things like that mean a lot.
Yeah. Go figure.

That doesn't mean that you can't come get a massage after church, or whatever it is you traditionally do on this holiest of holy days (if you're into that stuff; heathen, Christian, or otherwise...). To me, it's really just another incredibly BEAUTIFUL day in LA. Get on my table to celebrate THAT, & to get an amazing massage....
Don't worry - Jesus would approve. ;)
