AlexinNH's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes, I was nervous and anxious but determined.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I agree, being a masseur can be addictive and I would definitely miss giving massages. Working on someone also makes me relax and I also enjoy meeting different people.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
If having regular clients is a measure of success, then I would say so. Most of my clients are regulars. There are even clients that still come to me since I started. Some of my regular clients have admitted that they have tried others but were not satisfied.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like the person to feel relaxed and satisfied with the service.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
In the summer I tend to my yard and like to cook, read, and work out.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
It has been more than 6 years for me as a masseur and I will continue as long as I can.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Don't get stuck in a massage routine. Not all people are the same so not all sessions should be the same.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm very flexible with your massage needs. If you want a deep tissue, a swedish or just a soothing massage just let me know.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I like meeting people and make them feel at ease.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My dedication to provide a good experience to my visitors.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I do not travel.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
With dedication you can learn a lot.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Relaxed, energized and satisfied.
