Please reach me by phone call. If that’s not a way you’d like to communicate, then you’ve contacted the wrong guy.
Texting isn’t my thing. To reiterate, if speaking isn’t an option, I wish you luck. It’s not that hard to find a moment to make a phone call. The paranoid "I'm private/don't give out my number/don't want my spouse to find out" guys, stay away.
Just sayin’.

If I don’t answer, it’s likely because someone is on my table. If you text me, and I don’t reply back or I do with a “call me,” make the time to do so, please. I’m not going to play text tag with you.

Also, be aware that I do not give out my room number in advance. You have to call me from the front lobby or the elevator when you arrive.

BECAUSE I FIND IT IMPERSONAL.
Years ago, my mother relayed to me that as a child, I would walk up to strangers & for no particular reason, just speak to them.
In grade school, I was told I had great diction. While a teen, I even entertained the thought of being an on-air radio personality, so it's something I've always embraced.

To this day, I still learn a lot from an exchange of verbal communication. It's heard in the inflection of one's voice.
Sure, there are those who don't like to talk, but if you want MY time, you have to speak to me to earn it. I'm not playing the "text tag long game" where I have to wait for your reply, respond back, etc. et al. Rinse. Repeat.

Honestly, I have better things to do than type my day away, not having to resend a message that came across incorrectly because spell-check isn't that effective.

I'd rather just talk to you. Easy-breezy. DONE.

Also, isn't it better to not assume because a person LOOKS like a model in a pic that they're going to sound that way if your only mode of communication prior to meeting them was by "text only"?
